Ode to Shingles and Icky pictures

Isn't that a great title?!
Well, we'll see how great...

For those of you with a site meter....have you ever checked to see which one of your blog posts brings in the most visitors? I didn't purposely set out to find this information, but periodically, I click on 'referrals' to see where a visitor came from or what they googled to end up on my blog.

As a Christian writer, I would hope (or maybe dream!) that one of my wonderfully spiritual titles has shown up somewhere out there in cyberspace, and draws dozens of readers to my blog, where they are uplifted and encouraged to go on for the Lord; their day made better for having stopped by my little corner of the blogasphere............... yeah, right......dream on....

No, the post that brings people in by the droves is this one, with icky pictures of Justin's face:

Shingles, And They're Not On The Roof

Who'da thunk it?!

P.S. Note the date on photo - April 18, 2009. Justin is fine.

I won't quit my day job to write comedy....wait....I don't have a day job to quit!

Oh,I feel so bad for Justin! My husband has had shingles a couple of times and they are very painful and I imagine they are not good around the eyes. Hope they get better very quickly, Justin. Our prayers will be to that end.

AND Deb, you have made my days better lots of time. Don't give up hope, one day it will happen. You may never know until you get to heaven whose like you have touched and your music has helped to change or see a truth that they had before been missing. love you, and Justin, feel better soon. connie
