Miracles Happen

This song will be part of my Hope and Peace Collection.

Silas and Paul sang praises, and sought the Lord in prayer.
Though locked away in prison, they knew how much God cared.
God sent a mighty earthquake in answer to their prayer.
He made a way to freedom; their work was finished there.

Miracles happen when we pray. Our God cares, and answers all,
When we humbly seek his face, and we surrender all;
when we give thanks unto his name, for his mercy and his love,
Our sacrifice of praise reaches his throne above.

Hannah went to the temple, and sought the Lord in prayer.
She longed for a child, and knew how much God cared.
God looked on her affliction, and answered Hannah’s prayer.
He granted her petition. The Lord remembered her.

Miracles happen when we pray. Our God cares, and answers all,
When we humbly seek his face, and we surrender all;
when we give thanks unto his name, for his mercy and his love,
Our sacrifice of praise reaches his throne above.

Paul was a man of God who sought the Lord in prayer.
Three times he asked for healing. He knew how much God cared.
God gave him strength in weakness, to glorify his name.
Though Paul still bore his burden, God gave sufficient grace.

Miracles happen when we pray. Our God cares, and answers all,
When we humbly seek his face, and we surrender all;
when we give thanks unto his name, for his mercy and his love,
Our sacrifice of praise reaches his throne above.
Jesus set our example, to seek the Lord in prayer.
Through all his earthly trials, he knew how much God cared.
God has the perfect answer , before we ever pray.
When he takes us through struggles, God gives sufficient grace.

Miracles happen when we pray. Our God cares, and answers all,
When we humbly seek his face, and we surrender all;
when we give thanks unto his name, for his mercy and his love,
Our sacrifice of praise reaches his throne above.

Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

No matter what I am going through, I know how much God cares, and that he always has the answer to my prayer. He may not respond the way I would hope, but he will give sufficient grace to meet every trial.
