Unto My King, 1 Timothy 1:17

I wanted to write a worship song using the many descriptions of God found in the epistles.

The God of all comfort, the Father of glory,
our God is faithful and true.
He is the only King of kings.
To him all glory is due.

Now unto the King, eternal, immortal,
be honour, and glory, and power,
through Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord,
Forever and ever, Amen.

The God of all hope, the Father of mercies,
the everlasting and wise.
He is the blessed Lord of lords.
All nature testifies.

2 Corinthians 1:3,18 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

Ephesians 1:17a That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,

Romans 15:13a Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,

Romans 16:27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.

1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Timothy 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

1 Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
